WebMar 24, 2024 · Ok, so at the 9’oclock drive and the rest at 12. The erd is brighter, looser and more open. the ts9 is compressed a little darker with more mid bump. Playing through my 73 vibrolux the ts9 resembled the amp more at that setting compression and tone, when I compared between the amp and pedals. My vote would be the TS9. WebI'd go with Plumes for the versatility with your range of music taste. If you like playing Joey Santiago solos and licks, a tube screamer is the way to go. If you like the rhythm riffs from Black Francis, A Timmy would work in general. Johnny Marr style melodies don't really need a TS but the op amp mode in Plumes provides a nice boost when needed.
