However the CRB says this: "AURA ABILITIES Some abilities affect models or units in a given range – these are aura abilities." By that definition then it is an aura ability. I think until FAQ I will play it as an aura ability. 4 WebCharacters have a Sept assigned to them, usually T'au. In this case, they can be taken in any detachment, but the only Tenet that detachment can use is T'au, or whatever the character's Sept is. Note that the new Shadowsun rules means she won't "spoil" your detachments tenet, but she also won't benefit from it, much like auxiliaries.

WebDepends on what you are running. Each sept except Custom has specific stratagems and relics and traits that are not able to be taken in a custom sept. For instance, if you choose to run Counter fire systems, T'au will give you more bang for your buck, while Sa'cea works well with low output weapons like rail guns and markerlights (especially drone markerlights).
