Both have comfortable ergonomics, intonation is darned near spot on, and they are surprisingly mouthpiece friendly. I've used a Portnoy, C85-105, Knox, O'Brian crystal, and a couple of no-name mouthpieces that came with ebay albert system horns with good to excellent results.
