Maybe one of the Sheffields is supposed to be like a mix between an M Greenback and a JBL in one speaker?
WebJun 3, 2013 · The vin 30's seem to have more high mid aggression, and the 1290's seem to have more of a balanced midrange, it doesn't jump out or sound scooped, just kinda neutral. I find the 1290's to be dark overall though. I don't hear any ice pick treble frequencies. The two cabs sound great together.
