I also want to add that sometimes injectors are too far gone to save with additives. You may need to physically clean the spool valves or replace the injectors. WebAug 11, 2011 · But I use Opti-Lube XPD, my thought more or less if you stick to a good name brand such as Stanadyne then you should be fine. I did notice a gain in MPG and also a smoother running engine. On the other hand newer engines are supposed to be made to run ULSD with no additives. Oh, and it's urea not urine.
