This is where the stomach contents come back up the esauphagus because of a faulty valve. If it is reflux, something like Prilosec would help. You would want to have it checked out by a doctor. As. soon as I fall into deep sleep, everything in my stomach is pushed out. and I wake choking and gagging on my own vomit just barely making it to. the bathroom.

My only other suggestion would be to supplement your Prevacid with a more short-term acid reducer with a different mechanism, such as Zantac.
