WebThe answer is, you have to hook up a cooler via the oil-pressure switch cover (which lies on top of the crankcase behind the cylinder block). You can't use the plugged holes either side of the oil filter cover for the simple reason that there aren't any on the older 2-valve engines. However, the p/n 16600-01H00 oil cooler is used on every 2006-2013 GSXR 600 and 750 so there are lots of used ones around. You should be able to find one on Ebay or salvage dealer for about $50 US. They don't usually get damaged in a crash. D.

Neither would be considered a 'drain line' and your turbo would not flow the entire engine's oil need. You could possibly 'T' off the feed from the pump and plumb in a seperate drain for the turbo.
