WebIn 5e divine magic is a good generalist type of magic. Some damage, a focus on healing but all buffs have been nerfed into oblivion. Interestingly the highest damage direct damage spell in 5e is a 5th level spell. In pathfinder2 the higher level spells do better damage than the lower level spells.
