Just create some inventions that are similar to your artificer’s personality, like scientist googles or something. WebThe artificer class is very good and balanced for what it does. If you're going to add a way to quickly and easily craft magic items (beyond what the class currently gets) then it needs to lose something also. It's an unfortunate fact that dnd 5e isn't designed around, or balanced for, PCs to be churning iut magic items.
