The following resolved this issue: 1. wipe Windows and do a clean install 2. Update BIOS to f11 3. Disable Fast Boot Web-Double-click on Keyboards and right-click on HID Keyboard Device to select Properties. -Under Power Management tab, make sure that the box for 'Allow this device to wake the computer' is selected. Save settings. -Repeat the same process for HID-compliant mouse.
